Hercegovina Tour, BiH

From Mostar we took a tour of sights in the Hercegovina region of BiH. We visited: • Blagaj where the flooding Buna River springs out of the limestone cliffs, as well as the Dervish monastery. • Radimlja with its mediaval Bosnian stećci, or monumental tombstones • The Old Bridge in Klepci, built by the Ottomans in 1517 • Mogorjelo which has Roman ruins from the 4th century • Počitelj, an Ottoman town built in the 1600s under the ruins of medieval Bosnian kingdom fortifications
